Did you know that in underserved communities one in every 300 children owns a book? ReadBoston needs your help to change that. Last summer, our Storymobile program gave more than 25,000 high-quality, new books to Boston children, visiting multiple locations in every neighborhood each week.
We want children to be able to explore, imagine and dream big. Books and stories are a way for children to see the world without leaving their own neighborhood and support summer learning while away from the classroom.

ReadBoston is the city’s only comprehensive early literacy program, reaching Boston’s children at all points in their day, all year long. We provide early child care programs, schools, after school programs, summer programs and families with the resources they need to set Boston’s children on the path to reading success.
