Over the course of six Parent Literacy Leadership workshops, parents from various parts of Boston came together to learn early childhood literacy and develop their leadership skills in order to share reading techniques with fellow parents in their communities.

Now that they have finished their training, parent literacy leaders will conduct workshops for other parents in their cultural and school communities and receive ongoing coaching from ReadBoston. This year the current cohort of Parent Leaders have led 28 workshops across Boston reaching 500 parents.
