Through their annual Holiday Book Drive, Barnes & Noble stores donate books to hundreds of charities across the county. In 2015, the Holiday Book Drive generated almost 1.5 million books nationwide.
ReadBoston was the lucky beneficiary of the Holiday Book Drive at the Barnes & Noble store at the Prudential Center. Thanks to the generous support of Barnes & Noble customers and booksellers, ReadBoston received over 5,000 new books!
Books that were donated through the 2015 Holiday Book Drive will be used to support our work with residents of Boston Housing Authority communities. Books will be distributed through monthly Storymobile sessions at schools and community-based organizations with a high percentage of BHA residents.
